A roller pen sleeved in carbon fibre under a polished metal collar — the weave visible through the lacquer, catching light in a fine cross-hatch. Slim in the barrel and heavier at the cap, which balances it toward the hand. Presented in its original...

A set of two coffee cups, each a clear glass liner seated in a silver-toned metal holder with crystals set into the handle. The glass lifts out for washing and the metal keeps the heat off the hand — the arrangement that works for...

Notte di San Lorenzo — the night of the falling stars, the tenth of August in Italy, when the sky is watched for wishes. A single bare tree stands under a wash of deep blue scattered with white, a small town line at the...

A polished chrome ballpoint cut with long shallow grooves down one side of the barrel. Plain enough for a company order, distinct enough not to look like one. Presented in its original Ottaviani case with the brand's international warranty. Specifications Dimensions: 13.8 cm Material:...

The USB pen in deep blue lacquer with chrome fittings — a deeper blue than the lacquered sibling, and the easiest of the range to tell apart at a table where everyone has been given one. 16 GB in the cap. The drive lifts...

A ballpoint in blue lacquer with chrome fittings and a 16 GB USB drive built into the cap. The drive lifts out of the cap and returns flush, so nothing about the pen announces it. The obvious gift for a signing, a handover, or...

The USB pen with a black lacquer barrel and a polished chrome section and cap, the drive seated inside the cap. 16 GB in the cap. The drive lifts out of the cap and returns flush, so nothing about the pen announces it. Presented...

A roller pen in black lacquer with a full chrome cap, the two halves nearly equal in length. Conventional on purpose: this is the pen bought when the recipient's taste is unknown. Presented in its original Ottaviani case with the brand's international warranty. Specifications...

A ballpoint with three chrome rings set into a black barrel, breaking the length into sections. The rings do the work of a grip without adding rubber to a pen that should not have any. Presented in its original Ottaviani case with the brand's...

A roller pen in black lacquer, its barrel cut into shallow squares that give the fingers something to hold without turning the pen into an ornament. Chrome cap and clip. It writes wet and continuous, the way a roller should. Presented in its original...

Black carbon fibre under clear lacquer with polished chrome at the tip and cap. The weave is the only pattern on the pen, and it is a material rather than a decoration — which is the point of it. Presented in its original Ottaviani...

A slim pen in black and white finished with rhodium plating, with a single crystal set into the crown of the cap. Rhodium is harder than silver and does not tarnish, so the brightness holds. Presented in its original Ottaviani case with the brand's...

A two-piece cake set — knife and server — in silver plate, each handle set with a row of small crystals along its length. 31.8 cm. The pair that is bought for a wedding table and kept for the anniversaries afterwards. Made in Italy...

Albero della Vita — the tree of life — engraves branches and small leaves around the oval, an old Mediterranean motif for family, continuity, and roots. It is the frame given when the photograph inside is meant to stay in the family. 10 ×...

A roller pen finished in rhodium plating, with a 16 GB USB drive concealed inside the cap — the file and the signature travelling together. It writes with the weight of a proper pen rather than a promotional one, and the Ottaviani mark sits...

A silver teddy bear seated on a round pale blue base that holds the movement — 8.5 × 8.5 × 14 cm, small enough for a nursery shelf. Wound from underneath, and the bear turns slowly as it plays. Made in Italy and supplied...

A small crystal box, 8 × 8 × 11 cm, its body cut into broad angled facets that step inward toward a faceted lid. Clear throughout, so whatever is inside is part of the object. Made in Italy and supplied in its original Ottaviani...

A shallow rectangular tray in Miro Silver with a glittered inner bed, 9 × 13 cm — the small size. It sits by a door or on a dresser and collects what comes out of a pocket at the end of the day: keys,...

A cylindrical crystal jar, 10 × 10 × 13.5 cm, with a smooth body and a heavily faceted domed lid topped by a ball finial. The plain wall is deliberate — it lets whatever is inside be seen, which is why this shape is...

A five-arm candelabrum measuring 35 × 35 cm, the arms set in a shallow curve around a turned crystal stem on a faceted foot. The proportion is designed for a table of six to eight — wide enough to matter, contained enough to leave...

A horse's head cast in bronze, rising behind a polished agate slice into which the clock movement is set. The agate is cut from a single natural nodule, so its banding is unrepeatable — the stone is the dial. Mounted on a stone base....

A square tray, 30 × 30 cm, edged on all four sides with rounded crystal beads over a mirrored base. Large enough to serve on and shallow enough to leave out — it usually ends up permanently on a console with a candle and...

A carousel that turns as it plays, its canopy and horses finished in pink enamel and silver. Wound from beneath; the platform revolves while the movement runs. The traditional gift for a birth or a christening, and the one that is kept long after...

The largest candelabrum in the range at 58 × 58 cm — nine cut-crystal cups on arms rising in two tiers from a heavy faceted base. This is a centrepiece for a long table on an occasion, not a permanent fixture, and it is...

Tulipani runs a band of tulips around the border in soft rose and green, drawn rather than embossed, so the flowers stay flat against the Miro Silver and never compete with the photograph. This is the large size, 18 × 24 cm — the...

Peach blossom in gold leaf, sealed between crystal panels — the branch drawn across one corner and left to run out into open glass rather than filling the border. An eastern motif executed with Italian materials. 13 × 18 cm. Made in Italy and...

A photo frame from Ottaviani's Miro Silver line, its border carrying a dark grey python print over the brand's patented silver finish. The 9 × 13 cm aperture suits a portrait or a small family photograph, and the weighted easel back holds it steady...

The Il Sole oval in its gold finish — the same radiating border, warmed. Gold suits an older photograph, a sepia print, or a room already working in brass and amber tones. 13 × 18 cm. Made in Italy, and it arrives boxed by...

The Caramella scallop in plain white — the same softened silhouette with the colour taken out, leaving only the shape and the silver edge. The one to choose when the photograph should carry the colour. 10 × 15 cm. Produced in Italy and presented...

The Caramella scallop in yellow and white — the warmest of the five colourways, and the easiest to place in a room that is not decorated for a child. 10 × 15 cm, enamel over Miro Silver. Produced in Italy and presented in its...

The larger pocket tray at 13 × 18 cm, same Miro Silver frame and glittered bed. The extra width takes a phone as well as keys, which is what makes this the size most people end up using. Made in Italy and supplied in...

A lidded crystal box for sweets, 8.3 × 8 × 10 cm, cut clear and finished on every face — including the underside of the lid, which is why it can be set down beside the box without looking like a loose part. Sized...

The aquamarine stud frame at 20 × 25 cm — the largest crystal frame in the range, and heavy enough that it is placed once and left. Best where it can catch daylight: a hall console, a shelf near a window. Produced in Italy...

Couture quilts the border into a diamond lattice, the way a padded leather panel is stitched — each facet catching the light at a slightly different angle so the silver moves as you pass it. At 18 × 24 cm it is the statement...

A horse's head cast in bronze above a polished agate slice carrying the clock movement, on a stone base. This is the second colourway of the pair; because each agate is cut from its own nodule, the two pieces differ in banding as well...

The small Il Sole oval, 10 × 15 cm — the size for a bedside table or a shelf where a face should be met at close range. The rays are shortened with the frame and read finer for it. Produced in Italy and...

A cake stand with a pale green glass plate raised on a single faceted crystal ball. The plate is 30 cm across with a softly scalloped rim, and the stand comes apart for storage. Made for the cake that is meant to be looked...

The engraved Albero della Vita oval at 13 × 18 cm, where the branches have room to spread and the motif becomes legible as a tree rather than as pattern. A wedding or anniversary frame. Made in Italy and supplied in its original Ottaviani...

The largest of the Python frames, in coral red over Miro Silver. At 18 × 24 cm it is sized for the photograph a room is arranged around — a wedding portrait, a family group — and it has the weight to hold a...

Clear crystal studs, deeply cut, set close along a 12 × 17.7 cm border. The facets are angled in alternating directions, so the frame never presents a flat reflection — it changes as you move past it. Made in Italy and supplied in its...

The Python frame in its middle size, the border printed with a dark grey snakeskin scale over Ottaviani's patented Miro Silver finish. At 13 × 18 cm it takes a standard print without cropping, and the pattern is fine enough to read as texture...

The Tulipani border at 13 × 18 cm, where the tulips sit closer together and the frame reads as a single ornamented band. A natural gift for a mother, a graduation, or a first home — it announces the occasion without a word printed...

The hammered Dolce Vita oval at 13 × 18 cm. The larger border gives the hand-worked surface room to show its irregularity, and no two frames break the light in quite the same way. Made in Italy, and it arrives boxed by Ottaviani with...

The Caramella scallop in rose and white. The stripes are wide and the edge is soft, which is why this frame reads gentler than its colour suggests — it can hold a christening photograph for years without looking outgrown. 10 × 15 cm. Made...

The same Python scale, this time in coral red — a frame that carries a photograph and still reads as colour on a shelf of neutrals. The 13 × 18 cm aperture suits a portrait or a travel print, and the weighted back stands...

The Caramella scallop in green and white — the colourway that sits best beside plants and natural wood. 10 × 15 cm, enamel stripes over the Miro Silver body. Made in Italy, and it arrives boxed by Ottaviani with the brand's international warranty. Specifications...

The faceted crystal stud frame in the smaller 10.1 × 15.2 cm format, sized for a standard print. Solid crystal throughout, with weight that keeps it upright on a polished surface. Made in Italy, and it arrives boxed by Ottaviani with the brand's international...

Flora lays gold leaf between two panels of crystal, the foil cut into blossoms and drifting leaves that appear suspended inside the glass. The gold is real leaf, applied by hand, and no two sheets tear the same way. 13 × 18 cm. Produced...

A frame built from crystal studs cut as small pyramids and tinted aquamarine, each one throwing back a different piece of the light. The colour is in the glass, not applied to it, so it will not fade. 10 × 15 cm, with a...

The quilted Couture lattice at 13 × 18 cm. The smaller field tightens the diamonds and makes the frame busier with light — good on a desk under a lamp, where the movement is visible from close range. Produced in Italy and presented in...
