Born in the house’s archives around 1770, “A Striche” — Venetian for “stripes” — is a quest for the essential, almost abstract: an eighteenth-century decoration, historically daring for its dominant blue. Hand-painted cobalt bands radiate from each rim, traced in gold; the solid-banded signature plate anchors the setting. Each piece is decorated by hand in Venice — no two are strictly identical.
